The short version
Idle Miner Depths is a free game that runs entirely in your web browser. Your game progress is saved locally on your own device using browser storage (localStorage). There is no account, and your save is never uploaded to us.
Local save data
To let you keep playing where you left off — and to credit offline earnings — the game writes your progress (ore, miners, depth, prestige) to your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings; doing so resets your game. If your browser blocks storage (for example in private browsing), the game falls back to in-memory progress for the session and tells you it is not being persisted.
Analytics and advertising
Depending on where you play, this game may use the following third-party services. Each is disclosed here so you know what may run:
- Analytics (e.g. Google Analytics 4): aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics to understand how the game is played.
- Advertising (e.g. Google AdSense or a game-portal ad SDK): ads may be shown to keep the game free, including optional rewarded ads you choose to watch for in-game boosts.
When the game is hosted on our own site and these services are not enabled, no analytics or advertising requests are made.
Your choices in the EEA & UK (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and any advertising or analytics that relies on consent is active, you will be asked for consent and can withdraw it at any time (Consent Mode). You have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Because game progress is stored only on your device, you can erase it yourself by clearing your browser storage.
